HD-XNET-RJ45/E1000 cat6 cable surge protector of data communication is designed as ideal fully shielded surge arrester for Ethernet and similar applications in universally structured cabling systems of Category 6 or class E, according to TIA/EIA-568B-2.1 and ISO/IEC 11801standard. Via universal RJ45 sockets of input & output, it can be easily connected serially in the front of protected device. With top quality heavy duty gas discharge component and low capacitance diode matrix, the product can provide low-capacity fine protection and high-capacity coarse protection for sensitive electronics device from the lightning and surge by absorbing the high energy and transmitting it to earth via grounding. Therefore, this product are widely applied in structured cabling systems and similar applications of data communication in offices and industry, such as Gigabit Ethernet, ATM, ISDN, Voice of IP and Power over Ethernet system, used as perfect surge protector with good frequency transmission character, higher discharge current, and quicker response time.
HD-XNET-RJ45/E1000 cat6 cable surge protector of data communication can be installed at boundaries 0B-1 and more, according to the lightning protection zones concept. The signal of protected side should be ensure not to be polluted by the surge current flowing in the unprotected side and grounding cable during cable routing, meanwhile, the bend-radius of data cable can not be less than 35mm. And the grounding cable must be less than 1.5m long by the shortest route possible. In routine maintenance, the resistance of per pair must be test . MΩ of the measures quantitatively means ok; While several ohms means destroyed, the product must be replaced.

HD-XNET-RJ45/E1000 六类双绞线数据通讯电涌保护器，可安装在雷电保护分区的LPZ 0B-1界面或更高的界面。在安装布线时，被保护数据线的信号不应被未保护端线缆和接地线的电涌电流所污染；接地线应尽可能通过最短的路径接地，长度不要超过1.5米；数据线缆的弯曲半径不能小于35mm。对产品例行维护检修时，要测量每对双绞线之间的阻值，当阻值为兆欧数量极时，表示产品正常；当阻值仅为数欧时，表示产品已损坏，须立即更换。
